Studio Lior is a multidisciplinary creative studio founded by Malaya Edwards-Roberts, a London-based creative producer and photographer. Dedicated to storytelling, the studio explores themes of womanhood, identity, relationships, and culture.
Malaya’s notable collaborations include working as a camera operator for Azekel’s performance at the Nile Rodgers Meltdown Festival (2019), organised by Southbank Centre X Eastside Film, and having her photograph 'Benna' from her I AM BLACK campaign featured in Vogue Italia's Photo Vogue under the Femininity category (2020). She also created and hosted the podcast Shades of Essence (2021–2022), which spotlighted the experiences of multicultural creatives living in the UK.
Drawing from Malaya’s extensive experience across creative industries, Studio Lior produces various works spanning short films, documentaries, brand collaborations, and photography. The studio’s projects have been showcased at international film festivals and are celebrated for their thought-provoking narratives and artistic integrity.
At its heart, Studio Lior is driven by a passion for connection and creativity. We deliver stories that resonate with audiences and inspire meaningful conversations.
